Does it cost anything to get a quote?
It’s absolutely free to get a quote and no-obligation. You can book a quote online and we’ll come to your home, measure & show you the ranges.
How do I book a quote?
You can book a quote online, by phone on 01782 271313 or in one of our showrooms. The booking system will show the soonest available dates and timeslots. We then just need some info from you such as your name, address, phone number and an email address to send your quote to.

How long is my quote valid for?
Your quoted price is valid for 3 months from the date we measure. If there are any time sensitive offers on your quote, our surveyor will let you know. We will keep your quote details on file for up to 2 years, the price will need to be checked if 3 months have passed.
I’ve received my quote, how do I place an order?
Your quote will have been sent to you by email (remember to check your junk folder!). Once you have checked the details and are happy to proceed, you can pay your 50% deposit using the button at the bottom of the quote. This will take you to our secure online payment system to process your deposit.
Alternatively, you can give us a call on 01782 271313 to pay your deposit by card over the phone, or pop into a showroom and pay by cash or card.
Do you offer any payment plans?
We now offer interest free finance, with monthly payment options available over 6, 9 or 12 months. For more information, please see our 0% finance page or call our office on 01782 271313.
How much are your products?
All of our products are made to measure, so the price depends on the size of your windows. The best way to get a price is to book an appointment, but you can also get a rough estimate by emailing over your sizes to [email protected] along with an idea of which products you’re interested in.
What offers do you have on?
All of our current deals and offers are listed on the blind offers page. We have fantastic value for money with our vertical blind deals, starting from 3 blinds for £99. On top of that, we run seasonal discounts across various products and multi-buy discounts for 4+ blinds.
How much is fitting?
Blind fitting is free if you’re ordering any of our vertical blind deals or 3+ blinds. If you’re ordering less than 3 blinds, fitting is £15.

My vertical headrail is in good condition, can I just replace the fabric slats?
Yes! Replacement slats are a brilliant way to spruce up an older vertical blind or change your colour scheme. You can order replacement slats online or in any of our showrooms.
If you’re calling into a showroom, bring one of your existing slats as a template and count how many you need. For online ordering, we just need the fabric length of your existing slat and quantity required.
How long will it take to manufacture my order?
Lead times do vary depending on the time of year and the product. Your sales surveyor will give you a rough indication of the current lead time for your order.
As a general guide, our manufacturing lead times are as follows:
Vertical Blinds: 7-10 days (excluding curved rails)
Most other blind types: 2-3 weeks
Roman blinds & curtains: 3-4 weeks
Shutters: 6 weeks (Hampton range) 14-16 weeks (Nevada/Madison ranges)
Once your order has been manufactured, our office will be in touch to secure your fitting date. This will depend on your availability and how busy our diary is at the time.
How do I make a change to my quote?
In the first instance, please email [email protected] detailing the changes you’d like to make along with your quote number. Depending on the change, we may need to send a surveyor back out to your home to remeasure. Any changes made after our visit may result in a price increase/decrease.
I have paid my deposit and my order is in progress, when will I receive a fitting date?
As soon as your order is manufactured and ready to go, our bookings team will be in touch with you to arrange a suitable date & time for your fitting. We always recommend that you are home for the appointment to check that you are happy with everything and to settle your remaining balance.
We will not enter any property alone via a keybox system or similar, so we do require either a family member, friend or neighbour etc. be at the fitting if you are not able to attend yourself.
Please note that the online system used to book a quote cannot be used to book your fitting.
I have booked my fitting, what time will they arrive?
When your fitting is booked, our booking team will confirm a time slot with you. You can request a call 30 minutes prior to our arrival, which will come direct from your fitter (so please look out for an unknown mobile number).
Unfortunately we are not able to provide an exact time for your fitting as we have to take traffic, travel conditions and the days previous jobs into consideration – all of which can change throughout the day.
When do I pay my remaining balance?
Your remaining balance is due on fitting by cash or card to our fitter. If you are not able to attend the fitting appointment, you can pay your remaining balance anytime before completion to our office on 01782 271313. Alternatively, you can pay in full when you place your order.
We do not accept cheques for balance payments, but bank transfers can be made up to 24 hours before fitting. Please also note that your balance cannot be paid using the online payment system, this is for deposits only.
What guarantee do you offer?
Our blinds & curtains come with a 12 month guarantee that is valid from the date they are fitted. During this time, if any faults occur with the product, please report the issue by email to [email protected] or by phone on 01782 271313. Photos are really helpful for us, so please include any relevant photos if you contact us by email.
Shutters have a different extended guarantee depending on the range & colour. Speak to your surveyor to confirm the exact length of your shutter guarantee.
Do you supply & fit for commercial properties?
Our expert team of experienced surveyors and fitters can carry out work in a range of commercial settings. Our team is equipped with working at height training, asbestos awareness and health & safety training.
From schools, office blocks and local authorities to hospitals, shops & care homes. Amanda for Blinds have a range of commercial quality blinds & curtains, fire retardant options and heavy duty systems. Our team work with local councils, building contractors, housing associations and property managers.
